The Quadruped is a robot designed for conducting research with modification capabilities. This code is based on the Stanford Pupper and notspot codebases with extensive modifications, including integration into ROS 1 Noetic.

Necessary tools:

  • Wire cutters
  • Wire strippers
  • Precision screwdriver set
  • Soldering iron

IMPORTANT: Download “Quadruped V1.0 - BOM” for the component list and quantity of printable parts.

Print guidelines:

  • Infill type: Gyroid, Honeycomb, Triangle, Cubic
  • Structural materials: PCCF, PACF, ASA, ABS, PCTG, PETG (TPU for Feet)
  • Visual materials: PLA or other
  • Infill percentage: 35% for structural and 15% for cosmetic parts
  • Layer height: 0.2mm
  • Wall count: 4
  • Solid top/bottom layers: 5
  • Extrusion width: 0.4mm

Notes: All parts in contact with motors must be printed in ABS for temperature resistance. All orange parts and the black hub holding the servos must also be in ABS.
