You can create a whistle in 26 minutes using MakerBot. This object prints the pea right inside the whistle. After printing, it is easy to break it loose with a small screwdriver or tweezers.
You can download the .obj file, compatible with AOI and Blender. Additionally, there is a gcode file used to print the whistle shown in the image.
It's important to set up Skeinforge to create an (almost) watertight object, otherwise the whistle may not work properly.
Instructions:
- Print the whistle.
- Use tweezers or a small screwdriver to detach the pea inside the whistle.
- Annoy your neighbors by blowing your new whistle.
