This model is a desktop machine designed to measure and strip wires from both ends. It is ideal for creating wire lengths that fit perfectly into electronics prototyping boards.
Main Components:
- Wire Feeder: Mechanism that feeds the wire in measured lengths back and forth using a stepper motor.
- Wire Stripper: Device that trims the insulation of the wire using an Exacto knife blade controlled by a servo motor.
- Wire Snipper: Mechanism for cutting the wire, utilizing simple handheld wire cutters and an affordable drill motor.
Printing Recommendations: The model is made from 1/4" and 1/8" acrylic. Additional assistance may be required for assembly, so feel free to reach out for advice. Arduino software for operating the device is also included.
