MiniSkybot is a mobile robot designed for educational purposes. It features three key elements: 3D-printable components, fully open-source design (mechanics and electronics), and development exclusively with open-source tools (OpenScad, Freecad, and Kicad).

This robotic platform enables students not only to learn robot programming but also to easily modify the chassis and create new custom parts. Being open-source, the robot can be freely modified, copied, and shared online.

The robot is highly cost-effective, with the price primarily determined by the cost of servos, electronics, and sensors.

Construction Features:

  • The chassis is designed using Openscad.
  • The electronics include the open-source Skycube board with a PIC16F876A microcontroller.

Printing Recommendations:

  1. Print all parts:
    • 1x front part
    • 1x rear part
    • 1x battery pack holder
    • 1x battery pack
    • 1x caster wheel part 1
    • 1x caster wheel part 2
    • 1x caster wheel part 3
