S.T.E.V.E is an open-source, single-extruder 3D printer featuring a build volume of approximately 240mm cubed and CoreXY kinematics. The model is designed for easy modification and assembly, with detailed instructions and minimal tool requirements.
Key Features:
- The gantry head assembly ensures optimal alignment of the stepper motor's center of mass to improve print quality.
- The frame is made from standard 6mm 2020 aluminum extrusion, simplifying assembly and allowing for easy enclosure to create a heated chamber for exotic materials.
- It employs a total of 5 NEMA 17 stepper motors, including a 13Ncm for the extruder and 4 45Ncm motors for X, Y, and Z motion.
- The heated bed is constructed from 6mm aluminum plate, providing high thermal conductivity and durability, powered by a 330W silicone heater.
- Utilizes E3D v6 hotend and Titan extruder for a lightweight and reliable print head.
Printing Recommendations: For best results, it is recommended to use a drill and a 3.5mm bit, as well as a crimping tool for red crimp terminals. Complete instructions are available in PDF format and video guides.
